17 Mile Drive

Our second day of the All Star Break was pretty uneventful, and just what we needed after just three off days in almost five months!  Our plan was to spend the day at the beach, but in California it is still chilly on the beach.  We lasted about an hour fully dressed and under a blanket.  Needless to say, the lunch that I had packed so carefully in the cooler was eaten in the hotel room.  Making memories people.

So there weren't any pretty pictures from our second day.  But that is okay, because there are hundreds of pretty pictures from our third day.  Maybe an exaggeration, but maybe not.  Our plan was to head to Carmel for lunch, but we decided to drive the 17 Mile Drive on our way there.  Best. Decision. Ever.

I have never seen a pretty part of the country, and I have seen a lot of the country in the last year and a half!  So without further adieu, here are a ridiculous amount of pictures that don't do what we saw justice:

I really wish the pictures could capture how blue the water was and how gorgeous the wildflowers were.

There are so many more pictures I could add, but I will spare y'all.  If you are ever in California, the best $10 you will spend is driving the 17 Mile Drive.

It was sad to see our four day break end, but we are over halfway done with the season now!  We will be home sooner than we can believe.
