 Psalm 37:23

You know those times when God just blows you away? Those times that something finally clicks that He's probably been trying to get through for a while? Well that's the place I've been the past two weeks.

The Lord has been directing my steps in ways I haven't even noticed.  He has taken care of details that I couldn't have even known to pray to Him and ask for.  He has shown me over and over in the last two weeks that He cares for the smallest details in my life.

I think this is such a hard concept for me to grasp because our God is so infinitely bigger than I can wrap my brain around, but He cares about my life down to the details.

Our huge God cares that the hotel that we are living in the rest of the season that was picked by the team is actually livable, across the street from a lake and walking path that we can take our dogs too, and in a really safe area with everything we need in a five mile radius.

Our huge God cares that I have other encouraging wives here that have already been such a blessing.  For the first time in our baseball career, I am not the only wife.

Our huge God cares that just at the point in the season that I was at the end of my rope and more homesick than I've ever been, that Chris unexpectedly gets moved to the other side of the country closer to home.

Our huge God cares about the smallest, seemingly unimportant details of our lives.

That alone blows me away.

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7

I've talked about how I tend to want to plan and sometimes worry about the details of our lives.  The Lord keeps teaching me more and more about how only He can provide for us.  He always goes above and beyond things that I could ever even dream.  Maybe one day it will completely sink in, but I'm still a work in progress.

So today, I am thankful for a huge God that cares about the small details of my life!
