Beef & Broccoli

Today I wanted to share with y'all a recipe that gets made quite frequently in our home: Beef & Broccoli.  This particular recipe is super easy and perfect for nights when you just need something quick but yummy to throw together.  It's one of my favorite meals to cook after days at preschool because there isn't any thinking or skill involved!

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lb boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1-once strips
10 ounces of broccoli
1 package Lipton onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Directions:
1.  Stirfry broccoli in olive oil until cooked and set aside.
2.  Brown steak in olive oil until cooked to desire temperature.
3.  Mix water, brown sugar, Lipton onion soup, and soy sauce together.
4.  Add broccoli and sauce mixture to browned steak and let simmer.
5.  Optional: serve over white or brown rice.
Enjoy!

This literally doesn't take me 30 minutes and is one of our favorite meals.  The flavors are delicious and all you have to do is serve it over rice.  Let me know if you try our go-to and tell me what you think! I hope you love it as much as we do!
